What is your Return Policy?
I certainly want you to be happy with your order. But if, for some reason, you are not satisfied, I will gladly refund your
purchase price (but not shipping costs) upon the safe return of the original order. Simply notify me within 7 days after
receiving the order.
What are your shipping options?
I ship most orders USPS Priority with Delivery Confirmation. If you need faster or more "trackable" delivery, you can
also choose FedEx or UPS and I would just charge you for the actual cost of shipping. Simply contact me when you
place your order to make arrangements.
What if my order is lost or damaged?
I offer Shipping Insurance to help us both in the event that an order becomes lost or damaged. This insurance is
inexpensive protection for your order.
If an order is lost or damaged and does NOT have shipping insurance, I will do what I can to help you, but I cannot be
held liable for it or responsible for replacing it. I want you to be happy and I will try to help out, but please consider
adding the insurance to your order if you are concerned that your order may become lost or damaged (or especially if
you notice a pattern of things showing up to your residence damaged...or not showing up at all).
How long will it take to fill my order?
Depending on how large the order is, it will typically be sent within 1 to 3 days after receiving payment. Transit time for
shipping is normally 2 to 5 days.
How will my order be packaged?
Nails will arrive in the same heavy duty 4 mil poly bags I sell (instead of boxes) and wrapped in a protective Tyvek
envelope for added durability during transit. It will be shipped in either USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate envelopes, USPS
Flat Rate Priority boxes, or regular shipping boxes (depending on the size of the order).
What kind of nails do you sell?
I sell genuine Capewell #3.5RN and #3.0RN Horseshoe nails. Like many other producers, I have found these to be the
highest quality with the right look.
So, tell me about yourself.
I am Eric Louk and I live in Terre Haute, Indiana. I consider myself somewhat average - I am 5'11" with
brownish-blonde hair and wear size 11 shoes. I live in a brick house, have an oak tree and a picket fence. I am
married, have a son, a dog, and two cats. We drive a Ford Explorer. I grew up in the Midwest, my parents are still
married, I have a brother and a sister, and I drink Dr Pepper probably at an unhealthy level. I guess you could say I
am unique in my averageness.
More importantly, I am a Christian, a husband to a wonderful wife, a father to a wonderful son, an uncle to 8 nieces and
nephews, and a follower of one Lord and Savior, Jesus.
I have lived the past umpteen years in Terre Haute after attending and graduating Indiana State University with a
degree in Communications. I grew up in a church, but Christianity became personal to me in 1997 when I accepted
Christ as my Savior for the first time. From that point, I have endeavored to follow Jesus and have had my fair share of
inspiring successes and monumental failures. My wife and I attend Maryland Community Church and I have been
actively involved in the music ministry and have volunteered my abilities for special video projects ever since.
How did you create this website?
I used a combination of some pretty inexpensive tools. My web host provider is Yahoo! and they only charge about
$12.00 per month to have the website. They also registered the domain name (nailswiresandpliers.com) for free. You
can find out more about their hosting services here. They also included a free web site designing tool called
SiteBuilder which is what I used for this.
The payment/shopping cart utility is free through PayPal. They charge for processing payments just like any other
credit card processor, but at least the shopping cart functionality is provided at no cost. Setup was also very easy.
I created the web graphics using a program called Microsoft Digital Image Suite 2006. This program is no longer being
produced, but you might still be able to find it on ebay. Mine was free after the mail-in rebates, but it was only a $40
program to begin with anyhow.
How many nails can you bend per hour?
On average, I can bend between 250 and 350 nails per hour with consistent results.

Frequently (and some infrequently) Asked Questions
What kind of dog do you have?
Hmmm. Good question. We know that the mother was a full-blooded beagle and
that the father was a sneaky neighbor dog. When we saw the ad for "Free Beagle
Puppies" in the paper, we went to take a look at them and there were three left
(out of a litter of eight). Apparently, most of the litter looked like beagles (with
brown, black, and white) but a few were all-black with just a touch of white here and
there. I also found out that you don't just go looking at puppies. We returned with
a fat beagle-shaped dog in a tuxedo, but she's actually just stocky like a black lab.
And maybe a little fat.
Why is there no period after the 'r' in Dr Pepper?
Apparently the font they used back in the 50's made it look funny, so they dropped it.

Where did you get your Piggly Wiggly hat?
When my wife and I went to South Carolina several years back, I went into
a Piggly Wiggly grocery store and they had some on a display with other
Piggly Wiggly-branded items. So, I bought one. The picture here is my
son, Owen, wearing my hat.
